calendar theme: 2020 vision

I TOOK AN ACTIVE ROLE IN VOLUNTEERING FOR CEN8 ON THEIR CALENDAR DESIGN PROJECT. FOR THE DESIGN BREIF WE WERE TOLD THAT THE WE WOULD BE CREATING DESIGNS FOR A 2020 CALENDAR WITH THE THEME OF '2020 VISION'.
I decided that i want to create patterns that revolve around the topic of 'perspective', as this is a word i can easily associate with the theme of vision. We as humans, can view things quite differently from one another, even if we happen to be looking at the same thing. i wanted to create distorted patterns, allowing viewers to interpret their own statements of what they see when looking at the pattern themselves.
