PETRONELLA IS AN AUTHOR BORN IN SURINAME, WHO IS RECOGNISED AS ONE OF THE FIRST BLACK AUTHORS IN BRITAIN TO WRITE PICTURE BOOKS FEATURING BLACK CHILDREN.
My role was to come up with an image / design to display on a digital legacy that has been made for petronella.
i decided to go with a digital portrait to highlight the presence of petronella and surround her with bright colours in relation to her caribbean heritage.
